I honestly think that the 11-12 years were more trying than the teen years (so far, at least). The conversations and experiences that I have had with my teenagers are some of the favorite moments of my life. I think teenagers are really neat people with a perspective that is valuable and fleeting. It's not all roses and rainbows, but the good has more than outweighed the bad.
