Weekend Chaos

This weekend was insanely busy weekend, again.

Every Friday I have such hope that I will get so much done.  Every Friday, I make grand statements about what I am going to do, what I am going to learn and what I am going to accomplish.  It's like I make lofty new year's resolutions to kick off every weekend.  If Friday is my new year's day, Sunday is my mid-January.  You know, the time when every resolution unravels. By Sunday, I realize that I didn't get as much done as I had hoped, I've eaten too much and I give up.

But getting stuff done is overrated.  I kind of love that my insanely busy weekends are on repeat right now.  Because they are all kinds of chaos and loud and love and fun and very, very full.

Here's to chaos!

JT and Lucy look a little worried about Wade dancing on the table, but he's having a blast.  I'm all for dancing on tables when one has the opportunity.

Lucy was walking around with the headphones not plugged into anything.  Not sure why, but I thought it was hilarious.

I'll even cheer on more snow, as long as it's warm enough to get outside and play in it.
If you look closely at this picture hidden among the giant snowflakes there are children building a snow fort out there.  They spent more than four hours outside playing.

And who doesn't love parties, food and games?
Even though we are huge Manning fans, there were no losers at our Super Bowl party.  It was all about food, family, commercials, football and Super Bowl charades.
Tim was a good sport during charades.

Grandma gave the kids tips on how to act out their words and win. She's a great coach.

How was YOUR weekend?

Here's one of my favorite commercials from last night:

**I missed the half-time show because we were driving home from the Super Bowl party. So bummed.**
