JT Turns 8

JT turns 8 today.
JT is the kind of kid that will make you smile.  Grown ups like him, kids like him, pets like him.  He is easy to like.

He is the kind of kid that has to work a little harder than some other kids at reading.  He also had to work harder to learn to talk when he was younger.  But he is good at working hard.

He is the kind of kid that melts your heart.  And has the most beautiful blue eyes.

He is the kind of kid that wants to be just like his dad.  In the booth during Peyton's football games and by his side at the baseball games.

JT loves baseball.

And he loves to dance.
JT is the kind of kid that bugs his sister, and cuts his own bangs just because.

He loves his family.  He loves to be included.  He also loves to be on his own and sometimes needs that separation from the rest of the group.

JT loves his dog like kids in the movies and books love their dogs.  He loves big and completely.  He looks her in the eye, he makes time for her. They are connected more than the rest of us.

JT is the kind of kid that sometimes needs a little extra--attention, love, pressure, affirmation, structure, comfort.  JT is also the kind of kid that gives a little extra--kindness, smiles, hugs, help, laughter, love.

He smiles from ear to ear when he sees you at his game or helping in his classroom.  He runs in for the hug no matter who is around.  He wants you to see him and to love him. And we all do so much.
