Pinterest Poser Challenge for the Holidays

It's time again for the Pinterest Poser Challenge.  In an attempt at not being a Pinterest Poser,* every week I  detail a new Pinterest challenge whether it be a new recipe or a craft.
**My definition of a Pinterest Poser is someone who is all pins and no substance.**

Last Tuesday I kicked off Pinterest Poser For the Holidays Four Weeks of Gift Ideas.  Or otherwise known as, four weeks of gift reveals for some of my favorite relatives.  Luckily, most of my relatives don't read this blog so they won't see the potentially crappy homemade gifts they will be getting.

This week, the focus is on Christmas crafts for your house as well as gifts.  And I'm featuring my good friend Amy.  Not only did she host a most fabulous holiday party I was lucky enough to attend last weekend, but she also Pinterested the hell out of her house for the holidays.

She is no poser my friends, she is the real deal when it comes to holiday Pinteresting.

Check her out:

Adorable Family Hand print Christmas Tree= great family keepsake or tearjerker gift for Grandma.

Amy had her picture displayed on her mantle.  She said it was easy and quick.  All it took was a white canvas, green and brown paint, yellow construction paper, some children unafraid to get their hands a little dirty and a patient mama.

Candy Cane Vase=Impressive centerpiece for guests or creative gift to mother-in-law for hosting Christmas Eve dinner.

Materials include a vase from your cabinet, unwrapped candy canes (amount depends on vase size, but plan on quite a few packages) and ribbon.  You can also use double sided tape or Zots to keep those candy canes in place.  Click here for a tutorial.

Peppermint Candy Serving Tray=Major crowd pleaser (Amy's got lots of oohs and ahhhs from the guests at the party last Saturday) or gift for your neighbor along with your special homemade brownies or Christmas cookies.
Amy insisted this melted cuteness was easy.  Click here for a good tutorial.

Personalized Chalked Wine Glasses= Awesome.  I love all the holiday stuff, but this was my personal favorite.  Great gift for any wine drinker and can be used year round.
All Amy did was paint the base of wine glasses she already had with chalk board paint.  Then grab some chalk and start personalizing. Easy, fun and I love it.  I think I will make these and give them to myself this year.

Thanks Amy for all the awesomeness.  Go follow her on Pinterest, click here.

Pinterest has a cool page set up with 30 Days of Pinspiration that's pretty rad. If you haven't check it out, you should click here.

Are you planning on making any gifts for people this holiday season?

Do tell.
Share your project ideas or gifts that you've made before in the comments.

To see last week's Pinterest Poser Challenge gift idea click here.  It involved writing on plates and cups and should only be done by people with pretty good handwriting.

  9. The best part is you do not have to deny your sweet tooth using
these quick weight loss diets. When the time comes to
purchase HCG the very first time, making the effort to look, to check, and
also to research prices and shipping costs is needed.
Oz does not endorse the diet and believes that it is not effective for long term weight loss,
but he does believe that some times the experience of real people
has not caught up with science for documentation.
